Happy New Year! We spent New Year's Eve at one of our friends cabins up in Heber. We had a great time playing Rock Band, getting killed by Jen in Peanuts, eating, watching movies, staying up super late, and sledding (even though Triston and I crashed into a fence)! Thanks Morgan & Jen for inviting us!!

I love Quinn's face with the microphone! HA HA Rock on. Dani you look so cute prego and I see you are still enjoying one of life's pleasures, good ol' Diet Coke. I'm sorry I couldn't hang out this week, I have been so busy! Primary is killing me! (projects) I will call you as soon as I get back to town--I'll be in Vegas this weekend for Janine's wedding. Love ya!
Hey cute preggo girl did I send you an invite to my blog? Hope so I just switched over fast so I didnt get a chance to see get everyone's email addresses. Mine is Karolinagurl20@yahoo.com I want to add ya'll
ouch. I hope you didn't get hurt too badly on your run-in with the fence. Your quite the he-prego-woman for going sledding 6 months pregnant! Looks like you had fun.
You don't know me -- I happened to see Quinn's name at Bleacher Report and left him a note there and then found your blog.
Your family is beautiful. It was 1983 when my family looked like yours, young, healthy and happy.
Today, my oldest is 27 and my youngest 17 (though we are adopting a little 3-year old).
Though four of my children were born healthy, two of my daughters came two us with broken bodies and diminished skills.
Today, Katie is 19. We lost her sister Kendi to a nurse's mistake five years ago.
For 20 years I loved her, hugged her, changed her diapers, fed her, and stayed up all night with her because something scared her. I pushed her wheelchair and gave her a bath every night.
And I must have told her I loved her one hundred times a day.
And you know what? It wasn't nearly enough because I can never tell her again.
Not here, anyway.
We never know what tomorrow will bring. One day, you'll be the one looking back on a life long lived and be warmed by the precious memories they offer.
I have learned one thing in my life and I hope you allow a lonely father the opportunity to share it with you.
You can never tell your children too many times that you love them, and there can never be too many hugs, especially when they are for no reason at all.
May God bless your family and provide health and happiness to your son and future children.

P.S. If you'd like to see a picture of Kendi (and Katie), go to faridrushdi.blogspot.com and scroll down most of the way. You'll see her picture on the left side of the blog with the rest of my family.
