CUPCAKES for Breakfast

So I have to share this hilarious story, here it goes...
Every morning Quinn and I wake up to Triston coming into our room and demanding we get out of bed, or he will jump in bed with us and start playing tackle. Either way, he is our little alarm clock. So this morning when I woke up on my own I was shocked to see that it was after 7am and there was no little boy in my room. I decided to cherish the opportunity to sleep in past seven. Time kept going by and still my wake up call did not come. Finally I decided to go check on my little man who I assumed was sleeping peacefully in his bed. When I opened the door to our room I noticed his bedroom door was already wide open and his bed was empty. I felt a panicked until a second later I heard laughing coming from the family room. I walked into the family room to find Triston on the floor with a plater of cupcakes that he had basically devoured! He was covered in frosting and smiling from ear to ear. It was hilarious. My first thought was relief that he had somehow managed to get the heavy plater off the counter without breaking it or even spilling on of the 15 cupcakes on it. So he had apparently eaten quite a few whole cupcakes, licked the frosting off several others, and then only taken a few bits of a couple. I asked him if he wanted some real breakfast and his answer was, "No, cupcakes is a good breakfast." I had to laugh. So I asked him if he wanted a drink and he said, "Yes, Root Beer!". So apparently he is a sugar addict! When I gave him a cup of water he said, "I have root beer later?". So the day started off great, he was so wired and it was hilarious. He was laughing at everything. That lasted for about one hour and then...it was all over. The sugar took over and he became a beast!!! He was so ornery it was ridiculous. He threw tantrum after tantrum. And then finally after a long day of fits, he totally crashed and is out like a light!! Here are a few pictures from our day:

Cupcake number 12 maybe?? Who knows...

The plater after he had cleaned house.

Temper Tantrum number 50?? Who knows...

That must have been quite the day for you! I love how some cupcakes have bites, some the frosting is all gone, and some are completely devoured(sp?)! In that first picture I think he totally has a look like one of your brothers for some reason.
