Some Tristonisms

Triston has been saying the funniest things lately, here are a few of the things he has said:

We have been trying to teach Triston things you can and cannot do with a baby. We are trying to help him to understand that babies don't eat food, they only drink milk. So the other day I said, "Triston what do babies eat?"
His response, "Cereal and chocolate."

He also loves to have me and Quinn race him around the house using his wagon or scooter. Before we start the race he always says, "Float like a Cadillac, sting like a beamer!" and does a little dance on his toes.

The other day Triston and I were getting ready to race and he said, "Mom, I will be Chick Hicks and you can be Bessie." :)

I was in my room and Quinn and Triston were out in the family room. Quinn came back into our room and I heard Triston say, "Hello? Is anybody here?" Silence. "That's strange."

We recently bought a new car and Triston is always critiquing Quinn while he drives it. "Papa, you are driving to hard!" Or sometimes he will say, "Papa we are getting a flat tire, be careful."

Quinn and I were collecting bags of food for a food drive. We picked up a large brown paper bag full of food and put it in the back seat by Triston. When we were done we delivered the bag to the food drive. When Quinn took the bag out of the back seat Triston starting crying, "MY LUNCH! MY LUNCH! Papa took away my lunch!" I only wish you could have seen this brown grocery bag FULL of food. Apparently Triston thought it was his lunch.

Latley...

Life has been crazy busy around here these past few weeks. As we get ready for baby number 2, (six weeks away) I am cherishing these last weeks with my boys. As for an update on Triston's sleeping habit...I am sooo happy to say that he is still sleeping 12 hours straight every night. I still can't believe how easy it was to fix his bad sleeping habits. Since it has been so freezing cold here, Triston and I have had to find some really fun things to do indoors. Thankfully we have found some really fun (and free!!) indoor play places. With Triston getting so much sleep, he has even more energy than before so we are really hoping that the weather starts to get warm soon so we can play outside again!

Here is the fam. I feel like Triston looks so big in this picture (and so does my belly!). :)

Triston and his cute friends.

Triston helped Quinn set up the cradle. We wanted to give him plenty of time to get used to seeing her stuff around the house. He was so excited to help Quinn and he has asked several times if he could sleep in the cradle "that he built".

All sweat-suited out headed to the little gym.
