Here is a little update on the kids:
Triston has done great with our move to Texas. He is missing his friends and has only asked once, "When are we going back to our Utah house by Sadie?". A couple of days ago he decided he wanted to stop wearing diapers!! HALLELUJAH!! I have tried to start the whole potty training process several times before now but he was just not that interested or he would try it once or twice and lose interest quickly. After getting some advice from fellow moms, I decided to wait til he was ready and not try to battle with him about it. So when he came to me and said he didn't want diapers anymore, I was thrilled. He has done AWESOME! We have been using the "potty watch" and it has been FANTASTIC. So if any of you are starting to potty train, I highly recommend the potty watch. Triston is so excited about being a "big boy" he won't even put a diaper on when he goes to bed, so I sneak in just before I go to bed and change him into a diaper. First thing he does in the morning is run into our room and request that he is changed into undies immediately! Hopefully things will keep going well. Triston is a ball of energy and keeps me and Quinn on our toes. He is full of hilarious questions these days. He has started asking me, "Mom, where did I get this?" or "Mom, where did this come from?" about EVERYTHING he owes, including his own limbs, fingers, and toes. :) He is still loving being a big brother and can be very helpful when he wants to be. He has been pretty mischievous lately and anytime I try to discipline him he says, "You are hurting my feelings Mom" or "Stop being so mean Mom, you need a time out!". I have to turn away so he can't see me laughing!! I am also SO happy to report he is still sleeping 10-12 hours a night. WOOHOO!! He is growing up so fast I can't even believe it!
Bridget is an absolute angel! She basically cries when she is hungry or when she wants to be put down in her bed. Yes that is right, sometimes she will start to get fussy if Quinn or I are holding her, and if we put her down she goes right to sleep. She is still waking up two times at night but she is now eating and going right back to sleep. Last night she went 6 hours between feedings, I couldn't believe it. She is also a super speedy little eater. It only takes her about 10 minutes to eat, so waking up at night for 10 minutes is very doable. She has started smiling a ton and she smiles the most for Triston. She already loves her big brother, its precious. She is my little snuggler too. Triston was super stiff as a baby so I am loving that this little one loves to cuddle.
