I was so worried about how Triston was going to adjust to having a baby sister around and I have been blown away at how much he loves her already! Triston is so full of energy and needs lots of one on one play time so I thought he might be jealous of a new baby, I was wrong. From the minute we brought Bridget home he has absolutely adored her. It has been the most precious thing to watch him take care of her. He has turned into such a great little helper...he is in charge of taking all of Bridget's diapers to the trash can. :) Anytime he hears her crying he runs up to her and says, "It's ok, Triston's here." in the sweetest voice you have ever heard. Also, our first day back at preschool he was so excited to tell his best friend Sadie about his sister. As soon as Sadie got to preschool Triston ran up to her and said, "Sadie, I have a little sister like you!". My very favorite story was when we were visiting some friends and they were holding Bridget...here was Triston's response:
Triston: Mom, that is OUR baby get her back!
Me: Its ok, they are just holding her. She will come with us when we leave.
Triston: No, mom! You hold her, she is OUR baby. She is NOT staying here.
Me: I promise we will take her with us when it's time to go.
Triston: It's time to go Mom! Get MY baby and let's go to our house. It's dark outside she needs to go to sleep in her bed. :)
I thought it was so sweet that he was SO protective of her! Having two has been an absolute blast so far! Bridget has been such a good baby. Besides being exhausted from the lack of sleep, things are great! Here are a few recent pics of the two kiddos.

How cute is he?? That is adorable. It's definatly harder taking care of two but when they grow up and play with each other it makes it all worth it.
Oh my heck - how precious! Triston will be a great big brother, and Bridget is just adorable. Congratulations Dani, you have a beautiful little family :)
